The 2017 Spring Night Competition commences on Monday, 11 September 2017. The competition will run for a total of 10 weeks with the final matches finishing in week beginning Monday, 27 November 2017.

Team and grading information will be published when KNA have finalised the information.

If you are paying by Direct Debit please do this prior to completing the registration. You must complete a registration option for EVERY family member registering in 2017. If you have paid by Direct Debit you will need to enter the Direct Debit Receipt number on the Registration form. If you pay by Credit Card you will be directed to the Credit Card payment page when you select the Credit Card payment option.

The competition is likely to run as outlined below, to be finalised once the grading is completed. All time slots are subject to a number of teams registered and grading.

Monday @ Lofberg Ladies Comp: Division 6 (6:30 pm), Division 4 (7:20 pm), Division 2 (8:10 pm)
Tuesday @ Lofberg Ladies Comp: Division 5 (6:30 pm), Division 3 (7:20 pm), Division 1 (8:10 pm)
Wednesday @ Lofberg Intermediate Girls/Mixed: after 5pm subject to number of teams registered and grading
Ladies Comp: Division 7 , Division 8, Division 9 (if required)
Divisions and times to be confirmed after grading
Wednesday @ Canoon Junior Girls: 9/10 Girls and 11/12 Girls(5pm)
Junior Mixed: 11/12 Mixed (5pm)

Thursday @ Lofberg Cadet mixed, Senior mixed (3 divisions)

Mixed Competition Teams

For Mixed Divisions, at any time, maximum of 4 female players and 3 male players can take court at any one time. Both sexes must be represented in a mixed team at all times. Five (5) players constitute a team, consisting of two (2) males and three (3) females minimum on the court. A maximum of one (1) male per team may play in each third.

Representative Players

Should any Junior/Intermediate/Cadet/Ladies/Senior team wish to enter a team which has more that 3 representative players, no more than 3 representative players are permitted to take the court at any one time, unless permissions has been granted at time of grading based on the quality of the team entries. There is no restriction as to the number of representative players registered (for definition or rep player please refer to Spring Competition Rules Book.)

PLEASE NOTE:
  1. All Junior Girls and Junior Mixed competitions will be played at Canoon Rd Netball Courts. Please indicate clearly on your registration forms the specific Junior grade you are registering for e.g. Junior Girls (9/10 years) or Junior Comp (11/12 years Girls or Mixed). As per the KNA By Laws boys can play in the girls competition up to 12 years of age, if your team has boys in it please ensure you have read the mixed netball rules structure for the maximum number of boys on the court and positional restrictions.
  2. 8 years old cannot play in 9/10 competition just like 10 year old cannot play in 11/12 competition, as there is a massive difference in ability, especially between 8 year old NetSetGo player to a 10 year old player. Only players turning 9 or 10 in 2017 can play in 9/10 division and players turning 11 or 12 in 2017 can play in 11/12 division.
  3. Time slots for Intermediate mixed (Wednesday) Cadet mixed and Senior mixed (Thursday) will be decided after grading.

The West Pymble Netball Club will organise an appropriate umpire for each team. Teams will also be given bibs and balls.
Payment for your umpire is included in the registration fee. Team Managers will be given money at the start of the season and are responsible for paying the team’s allocated umpire each week.
